XTIOT barcode scanners support rich and customizable data output formats to match different systems including POS, ERP, WMS, industrial computers, and embedded devices. All output formats can be easily configured via PC software, serial commands, or setup codes.

Basic Output Interfaces

USB-HID: Emulates a keyboard; data is directly output as keyboard input, plug-and-play, no driver needed.

USB-VCOM: Outputs data through virtual serial port, suitable for secondary development and industrial applications.

RS232 / TTL / UART: Standard serial output, configurable baud rate, data bit, stop bit, and parity.

TCP/IP: Ethernet data output for industrial fixed-mount scanners, supporting real-time network transmission.

Common Data Output Formats

Original Data Output: Directly output complete barcode content without any modification, the default mode for most scenarios.

Prefix Function: Add custom characters before barcode data, such as order number, device ID, or channel mark.

Suffix Function: Add ending characters after barcode data to confirm data completion.

Common suffixes include:

Enter (CR), Tab, Line Feed (LF), Null

Data Processing Functions

Data Length Filter: Only output barcodes within a specified length to avoid invalid codes.

Character Case Conversion: Support uppercase, lowercase, or original case output.

Data Truncation & Interception: Extract fixed-length data from the beginning, middle, or end of the barcode.

Check Digit Verification: Automatically verify or remove check digits for standard barcodes.

Batch Code Separation: Add delimiters (comma, semicolon, tab) between multiple barcodes in batch scanning.

Special Output Modes

ASCII Mode: Output barcode content in ASCII code format for special industrial systems.

Hex Mode: Output data in hexadecimal format, used in automated and encryption transmission scenarios.

Timestamp Output: Add scanning time information for traceability and record management.
