1. Pre-Installation Preparation

• Electric drill

• Screwdriver

• Level ruler

• Measuring tape

• Wall-mounted bracket

• Expansion screws

• Data cable (USB / Ethernet)

• Power adapter

• Fixing screws

Installation Environment

• Install on solid wall or concrete wall

• Keep away from water, high temperature, dust and strong vibration

• Reserve 10–15cm space for cable connection and heat dissipation

2. Bracket Installation Steps

1. Use the wall bracket as a template to mark mounting holes on the wall.

2. Drill holes with an electric drill and insert expansion tubes.

3. Align the bracket with the holes and fasten with screws.

4. Use a level ruler to ensure the bracket is horizontal and stable.

3. Device Mounting Steps

1. Align the back hook of XT802 series device with the wall bracket.

2. Hang the device firmly onto the bracket.

3. Secure the bottom safety screw to prevent accidental falling.

4. Ensure the device is stable, no shaking or tilting.

4. Cable Connection

• Power Cable: Connect to the power adapter and power supply.

• Data Cable: Connect Ethernet / USB to the host or POS system.

• Arrange cables neatly with cable ties to avoid entanglement.

• Do not bend or press cables excessively.

5. Power-On Test & Commissioning

1. Turn on the power; check that the screen lights up normally.

2. Test the touch screen for sensitive response.

3. Scan barcodes to verify scanning function works properly.

4. Test network communication and price query data synchronization.

5. Confirm the device is fixed securely before formal use.

6. Installation Notes

• All XT802C/D/E/F series support wall-mounted installation only.

• Do not install on hollow walls, glass or unstable surfaces.

• Ensure the power supply is stable and grounded.

• Keep the scanning window clean and free of obstruction.

• For maintenance, power off before removing the device.
