XTIOT uses a barcode scanner to share data with two computers via a 2.4G wireless receiver, or to share data with one computer and one mobile phone at the same time.


It is a relatively complex requirement to realize that a barcode scanner can share data to two devices (such as a computer and a mobile phone) at the same time through a 2.4G wireless receiver, but it can be achieved through some specific configurations and methods. Here are some feasible solutions:

 

Method 1: 

Use an intermediate server


Intermediate server:

Principle: Set up an intermediate server, the barcode scanner connects to the intermediate server through a 2.4G wireless receiver, and then the intermediate server forwards the data to the two target devices through the network.

Advantages: Data can be centrally managed to ensure data synchronization.

Disadvantages: Increases system complexity and requires server maintenance.


Implementation steps:

Select an intermediate server: Select a computer with stable performance as the intermediate server.

Connect the scanner: Connect the barcode scanner to the intermediate server through a 2.4G wireless receiver.

Install forwarding software: Install and configure the data forwarding software on the intermediate server to send the scanned data to the target computer and mobile phone through the network.

Configure the target device: Ensure that the target computer and mobile phone can receive data from the intermediate server. You can use network socket communication, HTTP request and other methods.

Test connection: Make sure that data can be correctly forwarded from the intermediate server to the two target devices, and that data synchronization is correct.



Method 2: 

Use a multi-channel wireless receiver


Multi-channel wireless receiver:

Principle: Use a 2.4G wireless receiver that supports multi-channels to transmit the data from the barcode scanner to two devices at the same time.

Advantages: No additional intermediate server is required, and the configuration is relatively simple.

Disadvantages: There may be fewer wireless receivers that support multi-channels on the market, and the cost is high.


Implementation steps:

Purchase a multi-channel wireless receiver: Purchase a 2.4G wireless receiver that supports multi-channels.

Connect devices: Connect the barcode scanner to the multi-channel wireless receiver, and then connect the two outputs of the receiver to the target computer and mobile phone respectively.

Configure devices: Make sure that the target computer and mobile phone can correctly identify and process the data received from the receiver.

Test connection: Make sure that data can be correctly transmitted from the barcode scanner to the two target devices, and that data synchronization is correct.
