Data acquisition refers to a means or process that uses a device to obtain data or information from outside the system and input it into the system. There are three methods of data collection:
(1) Manual method
Manually press the keyboard to collect data, which requires low cost, but the data entry is unreliable and the bit error rate is high; it is used in the place where manual operation is relatively convenient, and it is applied to the manufacturing execution system. The input window can be realized.
(2) Barcode method
Barcode scanning mode input requires low cost, and system development is relatively simple, but the scanner needs to work under the guidance of the operator, so it can only receive barcodes within the field of view of the scanner for data collection. In some cases, when the label is damaged, stained or dropped, the scanner will not be able to recognize the target barcode, or the recognition will be wrong. It is widely used in parts identification and convenient places for manual operation, combined with manual input function to ensure the correct rate.
(3) RFID method
RFID mode entry, can repeatedly write different information, radio frequency identification does not require the target to be within the visible range. As long as the tag is within the power range of the radio frequency receiver, it can be identified for data collection; the economic input cost is high, and the combination of software development and hardware control is difficult. RFID identification needs to be used in a sealed space, where data accuracy is required to be high.
