What Is Marking Control in Warehouse?
Once products arrive at your warehouse with Data Matrix codes (Chestny ZNAK / Honest Sign), you must scan them to:
Confirm the code is readable
Record the goods in the CRPT traceability system
Link the products to your warehouse inventory
Verify that the marking matches the shipping documents
If you don’t scan, the products are legally “invisible” – you cannot sell them.
Where Scanning Is Required
| Warehouse Activity | Why You Need to Scan |
|---|---|
| Receiving | Scan incoming marked goods – record them in CRPT system |
| Put‑away | Scan codes to confirm which products are stored where |
| Inventory counting | Scan codes to verify stock accuracy |
| Order picking | Scan products before shipping – update CRPT that goods have left |
| Outbound verification | Scan codes against shipping order – prevent wrong or missing items |

Simple Warehouse Workflow
1. Goods arrive with Data Matrix codes on each case
↓
2. Worker scans each case with XT6202HD or XT3001BHD
↓
3. System checks: code is valid, matches shipping order
↓
4. If code is missing or wrong → alarm, reject the case
↓
5. If code is correct → goods recorded in CRPT and your WMS
↓
6. When shipping, scan codes again – update CRPT that goods left
Why Scanning at Warehouse Matters
| If You Don‘t Scan | Consequence |
|---|---|
| Missing code in system | CRPT has no record – product cannot be sold legally |
| Wrong code on product | Customs or retailer rejects the shipment |
| Damaged unreadable code | Product is stuck – cannot be received or shipped |
| No outbound scan | CRPT still shows goods in your warehouse – audit fails |
