Barcode Scanner Manufacturer with development & Invention ability
Prepared meals, cooked meats, and ready‑to‑eat salads have short shelf lives. If a package stays on the shelf too long, someone could get sick.
You need to know two things:
Which batch made which tray?
When does it expire?
Scanning barcodes at every step gives you that answer in seconds. No guessing. No paperwork.
| Step | What Happens | Scanner |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Print & apply | Put a QR or Data Matrix code on each tray or bag. Code includes batch number and expiration date. | (printer – not XTIOT) |
| 2. Scan at packing | As trays go down the line, the scanner reads the code. System records batch and expiry. | XT8131A (mounted on your line) |
| 3. Scan each case | After packing, scan the case. The system links every tray to its case. | XT8601B (batch scanner) |
| 4. Scan the pallet | Scan all cases on a pallet. The system links every case to the pallet. | XT8601B (batch scanner) |
Now you know exactly which pallet has which expiration date. When it‘s time to ship, you pick the oldest ones first (First Expired, First Out).

| Your Problem | How XTIOT Helps |
|---|---|
| Old food left on shelf | System tells you which pallet to ship first (FEFO) |
| You don‘t know which batch expired | Every scan is recorded. Full history. |
| Slow manual expiry checks | Scan instead of reading dates by hand. |
| Wet, steamy trays | Scanner reads through moisture. |
| Cold warehouse | PDA works at 0‑4°C. Battery lasts all shift. |
| Recall panic | In seconds, you know which pallets to pull. |
In prepared foods, you don‘t ship by batch number. You ship by expiration date.
How it works:
Your system knows which pallet expires first
When you pick orders, the PDA tells you: “Take pallet A (expires May 20) before pallet B (expires May 25)”
Workers scan the pallet they pick — system confirms it‘s the right one
No more shipping old food to stores. No more waste.
