Many vending machines and smart lockers already use a 24V power system. A scanner that only accepts 5V may require an additional DC converter and extra wiring.

The XTIOT XT206H series is available with 5V, 12V or 24V power input, making it easier to match the existing power design of the host equipment.

QR Code Scanning from Phones and Paper

The XT206H series uses a 1280 x 800 CMOS image sensor. It reads common 1D and 2D barcodes from:

• Mobile phone screens

• Printed payment codes

• Pickup and verification QR codes

• Product labels

• Membership and coupon codes

This makes the module suitable for vending machines, parcel lockers, rental cabinets, payment terminals and other self-service equipment.

Integration Options

The series supports USB, RS232 and 3.3V TTL communication. The decoded barcode data is sent to the customer’s controller or application.

XTIOT provides the scanner hardware and communication commands. The vending machine, locker control and backend software are developed by the customer.
