The scanner may be small, but mounting it inside a finished device can still take time.

A separate bracket needs space, screw positions must match, and the scan window must stay aligned with the opening in the front panel.

The XT206H1 offers a simpler option. Double-sided adhesive is already applied around the scan window. After removing the protective film, the module can be attached directly behind the equipment panel.

This installation method is useful when:

• Internal space is limited

• An additional bracket is difficult to add

• The front panel has already been designed

• Faster assembly is required

Screw holes are also available when a mechanical fixing method is preferred.

The XT206H1 uses a 1280 x 800 image sensor and can read common 1D and 2D barcodes, including QR codes shown on mobile screens.

Before production, test the adhesive position, panel opening and reading distance with the actual enclosure.
