There is often very little space behind the front panel of an access control terminal.

The scanner must fit beside the display, card reader and control board. It also needs to read QR codes from mobile phones without requiring a large opening in the enclosure.

The XTIOT XT206H1 is designed for this type of embedded installation. Its compact body fits into limited internal space, while the 1280 x 800 image sensor provides more detail for reading QR codes displayed on phone screens.

The scan window comes with pre-applied double-sided adhesive. Manufacturers can attach the module behind the panel without designing an additional mounting bracket. Screw holes are also available when a fixed mechanical installation is preferred.

The XT206H1 supports USB, TTL and RS232 communication, with 5V, 12V and 24V power options for different control boards.
