The slow part is not reading one DataMatrix code. It is repeating the same scan for every cassette in the tray.

XTIOT XTMZ40 reads the complete tray in one capture.

Place the tray in the scanning area, start the scan, and receive the codes together. Under suitable code size and imaging conditions, the system can read more than 200 codes at once.

This is useful when a tray must be checked for:

• Total cassette quantity

• Missing codes

• Duplicate codes

• Unreadable codes

For evaluation, we mainly need the tray size, cassette quantity and actual DataMatrix samples. These three details tell us whether the full tray can be covered clearly in one scan.
